Due to the flood cancellations of recent weeks our next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00 pm. We will be voting on constitutional changes, talking about future plans and the upcoming officer elections. The officer elections will be the following week, that is Tuesday, April 21.  This will give the officers elect a chance to work with the current officers before the semester ends.  Our final meeting will be Tuesday, May 5.

There will be an SPS meeting on Tuesday, February 24th at 6 pm in Hagen 314.

We will be having an SPS meeting on Tuesday, February 10 at 6:00 pm.  Among other things, we’ll be voting on whether or not we want to contribute to the physics grant fund.

Also, if you want to go to the NCUR conference at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, which is April 16th-18th, you should let us know before February 11th.

We will be having an SPS meeting on Tuesday, January 27 at 6:00 pm in Hagen 314.  There will be pizza provided.  Please bring anyone interested in Physics and Astronomy.

At the meeting, one of the things we will be discussing is the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR).  This conference is at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse from April 16-18.  If any SPS member is interested in going to this conference, SPS will fund them.  This is an excellent opportunity to present research, see others’ research and to network.  Please check your schedules before the meeting so that we can get a hard count on the number of people that want to attend.
