Dr. Graeme Dewar (Department chair of Physics  & Astrophysics Department, University of North Dakota) talked about metamaterial which has negative refraction index. Thus, it appears invisible to us.

Justin Hayes of Sanford Health talked about the major sub fields of medical physics. His talk covered recent advances and ongoing research in imaging therapy physics including 4DCT, 4DPET, MRI, Linear Accelerators and Heavy ion therapy ( protons).

Matthew Mumm graduated from MSUM one and half year and ago and now he is successfully working on his graduate project at NDSU on OLED and PLED applications which are basically organic LED.
