It is really hard if you ask a professor to give a presentation on his ongoing project in 50 mins class time, but Dr Cabanela did a good job doing so. His team discovered that there is an asymmetry in the distribution of stars between the west quadrant and east quadrant of our galaxy, and blue stars are older than red stars.
